Artist Statment

As a visual artist and educator with a background in sociology, I use photography as a medium to explore contemporary society. My work focuses on observing social structures in public spaces: systems designed to maximize efficiency while managing uncertainty and risk.

Photography acts as my pen, paint, and voice, allowing me to communicate through a artistic visual language. My creative process begins with in-depth theoretical research and visual observation, allowing me to delve deeply into the subject and express my perspective through imagery.

Through my artistic practice, I aim to confront and reveal the social tensions I observe. My work seeks to create space for social dialogue and encourage others to reflect on and share their experiences with the systems that define modern life
