Artist Statment
As a visual artist and educator with a background in sociology, I use photography to explore the structures and systems that shape contemporary society. My work focuses on observing public spaces—environments carefully designed to maximize efficiency while controlling uncertainty and risk.
Photography serves as my pen, brush, and voice, enabling me to communicate through a visual language that is both artistic and analytical. My creative process begins with in-depth theoretical research and careful visual observation, allowing me to engage deeply with my subject matter and express a considered point of view through imagery.
Through my artistic practice, I aim to confront and reveal the social tensions embedded in everyday life. My work seeks to open up space for dialogue, inviting viewers to reflect on their own experiences within the systems that govern modern existence.
