Young adults play an important role in the emergence of new subcultures. Each generation of young people brings with it new values and norms. Together they create a new way of seeing and understanding the world around us. A new culture is created, the old one disappears. What was is gone, something new is coming. As the Cologne people say "nix blieve wie et wor", meaning nothing stays the same.
